West Springfield High School Bomb Threat

Washingtonpost.com reported: A rock was thrown into a window at nearby West Springfield Elementary School Thursday night, along with a note threatening a bomb at the high school, school officials said.
West Springfield High School canceled classes about noon Friday while police searched the school following a bomb threat, Fairfax police and school officials said.
West Springfield High School students were evacuated from the building about 9 a.m. and dismissed a few hours later, school officials said.
West Springfield Elementary students were also evacuated Friday morning, after police spotted a suspicious package on the school’s roof. After an investigation, students were sent back to class about noon.
